Babcock: Creating a consistent global Safety induction
Babcock wanted to set a consistent global expectation for safety throughout Babcock.
The challenge
With business units in multiple countries and colleagues working on Babcock and customer sites, it was important for everyone working at Babcock to have one consistent understanding of safety expectations.
Our solution
We developed an interactive digital learning programme that has become a mandatory part of new employees induction training.
The programme is based around Babcock’s 7 home safe commitments and provides learners with an opportunity to explore why each commitment is important, what it means in practice and how they can adopt that commitment in the work they do.
The digital learning is available in multiple languages and has become a core part of building an engaged safety culture throughout Babcock.
