Improving health, safety and wellbeing
Babcock: Making the connection between health and safety
Babcock wanted to strengthen safety performance by helping people better understand how everyday health decisions influence safety outcomes, and by creating space for more open, honest conversations across the business.
The challenge
Babcock saw an opportunity to improve safety outcomes by increasing understanding around how both physical and mental health influence everyday safety decision making. They needed a solution to make these links clear, encourage open discussions and increase awareness of support available.
The outcome
The Summit strengthened understanding of the connection between health and safe performance, creating a shared global moment for honest conversations and providing greater confidence in speaking up.

The solution
We developed a two‑week global engagement experience with a consistent, ready‑to‑run two‑hour package for every site. Utilising scenario‑based decision making and practical reflection, the Summit helped teams explore how everyday choices affect health, wellbeing and safety performance. The experience was delivered both in person and virtually to ensure full participation.
"The Home Safe Summit was, as they all have been, excellent. I really enjoyed this session, so thank you for taking the time to put it together. It is great that there are so many interactive elements that help you think about the issues raised. It serves as a strong reminder that people bring their whole selves to work, and circumstances outside of work can significantly affect safety and security."
