GSK: Engaging contractors in safety standards
GSK wanted to update their working visitors’ handbook to ensure contractors understood the specific hazards on GSK sites and what they must do to keep themselves and others safe.
The challenge
GSK have many third-party contractors working on their sites and needed to ensure they were complying with their safety standards and procedures. They needed to distil the key information into a concise and simple-to-use document that would be a useful aid rather than a ‘wall of words’.
Our solution
We developed a highly-visual and engaging tool that enabled contractors to easily navigate to the information they needed for the specific task they were doing. Information was organised into the key steps they must follow before, during and after the activity, and also provided links to the Life Saving Rules they must follow.
Desktop and mobile-compatible versions ensured it could be used in-situ as well as when planning work.
