The challenge

As part of a focus on process safety, Rolls-Royce needed to engage everyone in understanding the unique risks associated with process safety hazards, and the behaviours required to ensure those risks are well managed.

The outcome

The animation is being used throughout Rolls-Royce as part of inductions and safety workshops and within business-as-usual communication channels.

Our solution

We developed a short animated video that explained why process safety is a key area of focus for Rolls-Royce, what process safety hazards exist in our business and how everyone can play a part in reducing process safety risks.

The animation told the story of various process safety incidents that occurred at Rolls-Royce and identified the missed opportunities that could have prevented them.  It signposted the tools in place to support everyone in managing process safety risks and provided practical insights into the behaviours required to do so effectively.
