GSK: Embedding an environmental sustainability mindset
GSK has ambitious environmental sustainability (ES) goals. The World Real Estate and Facilities (WREF) part of the business wanted their people to understand how the efficient, clean and sustainable management of GSK’s facilities contributes to these goals and to drive culture change on waste management.
Our solution
We developed three animations to bring to life their environmental sustainability ambitions, focusing on:
- what net zero impact on carbon and net positive impact on nature mean, and the interconnections between climate, nature and health
- circularity and what a circular approach means in practice for WREF sites
- actions everyone can take to help achieve WREF’s ES goals.
Each animation was supported by a conversation toolkit for managers to engage their teams on the information and issues highlighted in the animations and to develop team/site action plans.
An interactive pdf encouraged individuals to assess their own ES behaviours and provided practical tips on what they could do to reduce their environmental impact at home.
